"Hardcore-influenced metal" band The Acacia Strain have announced that their sixth disc, Death is the Only Mortal, will be out on October 9th. This disc marks the band's debut for Rise Records and Rise is selling a bunch of cool and crazy merch. (Ninja Turtle Shirt, Lunchbox/Thermos, etc.) as part of the pre-sale. The band also just released the first song, "Victims of the Cave", from the new disc via YouTube.
