STREAM: The Great Unknown - Interview w/ Philadelphia Weekly + Studio Tracks from Debut CD
Philadelphia Americana/Roots-Rocks band The Great Unknown released their debut CD, Tonight, Let’s Pretend, late last year. The band is coming to Spike Hill tomorrow night for a free show with Argyle Johansen and Thin Skin Jonny. The show starts at 10PM and The Great Unknown goes on first.
The Deli Magazine described Tonight, Let's Pretend as a "work of meticulous beauty...It’s an honest album, with no glitz or glam, but by relying on pure, raw talent, The Great Unknown have written one of my favorite albums of the year." This self-released disc was recorded and mixed by Tony Mascara in Millville, NJ and mastered by Frank DeGennaro (Ornette Coleman).
Here is the first video, "I Can See Forever Up Here", from the new disc.
