Former Telepathe / Blood Lines guitarist/vocalist Allie Alvarado relocated to DC in 2007 to work with dance music producer Alvin Risk. Allie has just released her first solo EP, "Undreamt", under the name Painted Face. In advance of the EP's street date (Sept. '10), NME listed the track "Sum of Me" as one of the "5 NME Breakthrough Tracks You Have to Hear".

Painted Face is playing two NYC shows next week with Vancouver bands The Stick and Kick Evrything and they close this mini-tour with a hometown show in DC with School of Seven Bells.
