Godhead seemed to suffer the curse of a lot of Baltimore/Washington, DC bands. They had great material and a great stage presence but never seemed to get that break that would push them out of the clubs and into the arenas. I still lived in Washington when Godhead formed in the mid-90s and I believe (though memory fades as I get older) that Miller was a bouncer at the 'old' 9:30 Club.
The last time I saw the band was when they opened for Genitorturers at L'Amour in 2001. The band seemed to lay low for a number of years after Marilyn Manson's Posthuman records folded (shortly after the release of the band's 2000 Years of Human Error CD) and I don't think they have been back to the East Coast more than a small handful of times.
This looks like a great show tomorrow night as all three bands put on a killer live show and none of them come through the area that often. Tickets are only $15.
There are more details about the show on the Rocks Off Presents website (link).
