Brooklyn-based cellist Daniel Cho passed away earlier this summer, a day before he was to play with Regina Spektor at the Montreux Jazz Festival. In addition to hiw work with Spektor, Cho also arranged and played with Katy Perry, John Mayer, Mandy Moore, Rachael Yamagata and Coldplay. He was also a correspondent for ESPN Soccernet, where he covered South Korea's national team.
Regina Spektor, Jesse Owen Youngs, Tracy Bonham, Jupiter One, Cooper (Cho's rock band) and many others are coming together this Monday at Music Hall of Williamsburg to play a tribute show to Daniel and help raise money for his family. The show starts at 8PM and tickets are $35.
