Paul McCartney Premieres 'Queenie Eye' - First Official Music Video from 'New'

Paul McCartney's 24th studio album, New, came out on October 15th and this disc is McCartney's first album of brand "new" solo material in six years. After unveiling a video of an impromptu acoustic performance of the disc's title track "New", McCartney has now released the first official music video from the new disc, which is for the song "Queenie Eye".

Earlier this month, McCartney played a surprise concert in Times Square and performed four songs from New - "New", "Save Us", "Everybody Out There" and "Queenie Eye". At this impromptu show, Paul commented "We only get fifteen minutes up here. Andy Warhol predicted that I would get 15 minutes of fame. This is it!" He also took time to thank the NYPD for allowing him to perform in such a busy and iconic part of the city.

Last month, whilst getting ready to go on stage at Regina, Paul McCartney was caught on camera performing an impromptu version of "New". This quickly turned into an acoustic performance when Paul was joined by the rest of his band for a run-through the song.

New comes out in the US on October 15th and this will be McCartney's first album of brand "new" solo material in six years. The title track of the new album was produced by Mark Ronson and the other producers who worked with McCartney on this new album include Paul Epworth, Ethan Johns and George Martin's son Giles Martin. New is available as a 12-track "standard edition" and a 14-track "deluxe edition" - the later is listed on Amazon at a pre-order price of $17.04.
