Jamie Burke (who is known for both his work with Bloody Social [band] and CK One [modeling]) played Bowery Electric on March 18th with his new band Burke.

With this new project, Jamie is writing and playing with bassist/producer Mikki James and a digital release of Burke's debut EP is due out anytime now. There are a number of tracks from the forthcoming EP streaming on Burke's MySpace profile (link is above).

I had the chance to catch up with Jamie and Mikki prior to the band's set at Bowery Electric (video below). Included on this video is a live performance of the band playing their current single "We Are One".



Right after the Bowery Electric show, Burke played a series of shows at SXSW.
