There is a live studio session currently streaming on BreakThru Radio from garage/blues rockers The New York Howl.
The New York Howl's sound is a solid mix of blues-based garage rock that falls somewhere between The Gun Club and the White Stripes. The band released its first CD, People Will Come To See Us Ride, in 2006 and they are gearing up to release a new EP soon.
The band has scheduled a few shows around the area and here are the upcoming dates:
4/06 – Brooklyn, NY - Zebulon w/ Garrots Suecas
4/16 – Brooklyn, NY – Southpaw w/ JC Brook
4/19 – Brooklyn, NY – Pubblic Assembly
