It has been a while since I've heard from Brooklyn-to-LA transplants Heroes of Popular Wars but the band just resurfaced with a new video for their song "American Loser" - a brilliant bit of political satire on this run-up to the election. The UK-based blog "The Devil Has the Best Tuna" described this song as "a two-part pop song/dirge that sounds like Kevin Shields playing tug of war with 80's Peter Gabriel".



The band describes this video as "Created by Anon, a secret project of a NYT magazine editor who's too chicken to put his name to it. Already getting a 'lil attention from blogs like Grimy Goods, Captain's Dead, Vinyl District and Ryan's Smashing Life!"
